System Overview

The ESD access control monitoring system is a comprehensive management system composed of computers, human body static electricity comprehensive testers, channel gates, static access control equipment, system management software, etc. The main solution is to solve the problem of unreasonable or electrostatic unqualified personnel entering the anti-static work area at will. There are multiple access methods for permission settings (measuring hands, measuring shoes, same side of hands and shoes, no testing), effectively improving the qualification rate of electrostatic crystal production and the prevention needs of safety production. The system automatically determines the information of incoming and outgoing personnel and static electricity testing data, thereby improving management level and work efficiency.

System Composition

The ESD access control monitoring system mainly consists of pedestrian channel gates (three roller gates, wing gates, swing gates), human body comprehensive testers, card readers (ID cards/IC cards) or fingerprints, facial recognition, management software, and computer hosts. It can also be equipped with electronic door locks or channel doors.

System Functions

●  The testing permissions can be combined according to the needs of hand and foot testing, and can be set according to individual clearance levels (single hand testing, single foot testing, full hand and foot testing, passing only one function of hand or foot, VIP exemption from testing).

●  The card reader is divided into two types: ID card and IC card. It uses a fingerprint scanner (with Wiegand 26) and can be configured with an LCD display screen, displaying the card number (fingerprint authorization number), name, department, and test results.

●  It has multiple access control functions such as time zone control and holiday control, and flexible access control management.

●  Follow the steps of first swiping the card to compare the card's legal permissions or fingerprint, and then conducting static electricity testing to avoid testing illegal cards or external cards that take time to detect card errors before exiting, which increases waiting time for others.

●  It is possible to compare the ESD test signals of the wrist strap and left and right foot footwear at the same time in order to quickly respond to the results. It is not advisable to test the hand before the foot or test the foot before the hand to increase the entire testing process time.

· It has an automatic reset function. When the card is not passed within the passable time after reading, the system will automatically reset, and the passable time can be set and adjusted according to actual needs.

○  If the identity is not recorded by swiping the card, the button static electricity test can send out an alarm reminder to remind employees to develop good habits and avoid time-consuming and congested testing.
